“Living Local with the Baraquios” started out as a fun idea
conceived by former TV news anchor/reporter Bernadette
Baraquio. She wanted to create a TV show that highlighted
only GOOD news, inspirational stories, and informative
factoids about her hometown … beautiful Hawaii...

Baraquio teamed up with her sisters and the best of industry
professionals, including the late and great TV veteran Faye
Mahealani Jones, and Hawaii's most notable director and
post-production editor, Sherrie White, to create the
magazine format.
